Como todo el mundo que me conoce sabe, soy un tío al que le encanta pasarse horas y horas haciendo hojas Excel absurdas y/o informes que nadie se lee (y que aunque se los lean, casi nadie los entiende). Últimamente «perdemos» mucho el tiempo sacando reportes de EOL (End of Life) y EOS (End of support). Resulta que Cisco prime tiene una «feature» que se llama «Compliance» y que hace justo eso.
Pero no todo iba a ser tan bonito … porque resulta que:
«The Compliance Services feature is disabled by default. In order for you to use it, a Prime Infrastructure user with Administrator privileges must enable the feature, For details, see “Enabling Compliance Services” in Related Topics.
Please note that the Compliance Services feature is available only on the following Prime Infrastructure server options:
The Professional virtual appliance. For details, see “Virtual Appliance Options” and “Understanding System Requirements” in Related Topics.
The Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) Gen 2 physical appliance. For details, see “Virtual Appliance Options” and “Understanding System Requirements” in Related Topics.
You cannot use Compliance Services on Express, Express-Plus, or Standard Prime Infrastructure virtual appliances. »
Que putada … nuestra versión es la Standard. Así que … el plan seria montar una maquina nueva con la ultima versión (a día de hoy la 3.4).
Según la documentación:

Compliance Baseline Audit is available when Cisco Prime Infrastructure is deployed using either of the below options:
● Professional OVA Virtual appliance
● Cisco Unified Computing System™ (Cisco UCS) Gen 2 physical appliances»
Así que si bajamos la OVA y la montamos … debería de ser suficiente … Ahora solo tengo que convencerles de que me dejen probarlo.
